The D building :

The oldest bldg of the school. Wooden frame, with some metalic griders (today gone). To restaure this bldg is the classic architect exercice. 4 of the bays are being demolised. New foundation on micro-wells will be prepared for the rebuilt bays. To miror the B building (description to come), we are using a metallic structure , the facade will be covered by zinc sheets, and the collaborated iron and concret floors will be the host of three stories of students workshops.
The D building connects to the A bldg from the garden court (left handside), the blvd and reaches the C bldg with 1 terrace(from where the picture has been shot), and two suspended iron walkways. We are in serious negociation with the metallic carpenters to get a perfect finish regarding joints.
The D and E bldg connect with a triangulated concrete volume(right handside), 4 stories high articulation which will host halves flights of stairs, and an elevator in glass frame.
