June 30 2008 - Summer Step

4 building are in the painting process - Jean Paul Philippon is chossing some specific colors to identify spaces and functions.

Auditoriums are the final construction steps - ceilings are being adjusted to fullfill the acoustic requirement of the national education codes - sometimes I do have to use common sens and self judgement. It helps to have strong notino of wave propagation.


Ligthing is still an issue, we are recalculating the light necessary in the main volumes for different purposes (évacuation, security, library, class room, boards, exhibition room, offices, outdoor lighting) - it is a really job. IGUZZINI is helping us calculating the light repsonse so we can adjust the power and position of the sources within a architectural lighting concept. An adventure of its own.
